Joann Farrell Quinn, President & CEO

Joann Farrell Quinn is the owner of JFQ Consulting, an independent consulting firm focusing on the development needs of individuals, teams and organizations.

Joann has over 15 years experience working with organizations of all types.  During her career Joann has worked with both established and start up organizations in several countries. Prior to launching JFQ Consulting, Joann held positions in regional and international investment firms. 

Joann is accredited by the Hay Group to offer the Emotional and Social Competency Inventory (ESCI) as an executive coach, and is a leadership coach for the MBA program at the University of Tampa.

Joann graduated from the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University with her Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in organization and management, and from the University of Rochester with her Bachelor of Arts (BA).  She is currently pursuing a PhD in management with a focus in organizational behavior at Case Western Reserve University.

Joann also teaches as an adjunct professor at the University of South Florida Polytechnic.  She is a member of the Academy of Management and the Association for Research on Nonprofit Organization and Voluntary Action and is also active in many community groups.  She also remains actively involved in the Security Traders Association, having served as the Florida association president in 2008-2009 and on the board of directors since 2002.


CURRENT OPENING at JFQ CONSULTING

We have an opening for a part-time sales executive to support our growth.  

Duties include: 

Prospecting and developing new client accounts 

Following up on sales leads via telephone, e-mail and web 

Developing relationship with global consulting partners 

Supporting marketing program activities including conferences, webinars, workshops, etc.

Desired Skills & Experience

Proven record in major account development 

Ability to speak and write articulately and credibly- must have excellent communication skills 

Highly motivated and able to learn quickly 

A strong work ethic, high energy level and a positive attitude 

Computer skills should include Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word 

Bachelor's degree or higher 

Sales experience working with C-level executives

Consulting or service industry experience preferred 

Willing to work as part of a dynamic and flexible team
